So, on Thursday this week, I was creepy.
Miranda and I don’t talk out loud to each other that often, by and large as life partners and joint business owners we’re in each others pockets all of the time. For the last 8 years we’ve spent almost spent 24 hours a day 7 days a week, 365 days a year with each other or around 70,000 hours.
We know what each other are thinking, we share the same objectives, we nudge each other when we feel the other half is going in the wrong direction and we tend to keep our own council.

Miranda and I live and breathe customer data. We think it’s important, and we are absolutely sure that any organisation needs to make their customer data perfect.
A company lives and dies by its customers, we do not understand why any business would allow itself to make the mistake of miscommunicating with its public by misspelling a name or repeating itself because of customer duplication in its systems.
Anyway, back to me being creepy. On Thursday, we were travelling back from York on the train and because we don’t talk much we’re a bit intolerant of people who do. On the seat next to us was a 46 year old female business owner called Linda, born in October 1972 (does it feel creepy yet?) and a young male employee.

Linda has two business partners and her business commenced trading on 3rd March 2011. As of last filing her business has £649k of total assets and £46k in the bank.
From just listening to the conversation, next to me I now know her Linkedin profile, her employment history and if I wanted to, I could probably know her home address.
This is where I got creepy! After listening to her young employee drone on for an hour, I leaned over with my palm outstretched and without ever hearing her name, I said:
